Dependable Cleaners: Ahead in Eco-Friendly Dry Cleaning

At Dependable Cleaners, we’ve been Perc-free for over 20 years. In response to recent news about the E.P.A. banning perchloroethylene (Perc), we want to reassure you that we transitioned long ago to a safer, environmentally friendly alternative.

We exclusively use the GreenEarth Cleaning System, a proprietary pure silicone fluid that naturally breaks down into sand, water, and carbon dioxide. It’s so safe that it’s unregulated by the U.S. E.P.A. for dry cleaning or other uses.

Dependable Cleaners has always prioritized the health of our clients, employees, and the planet. By choosing the best eco-conscious cleaning solutions, we ensure your clothes are cared for responsibly while protecting the environment.

Quincy, MA – Dependable Cleaners has announced recent winners in its Read to Ride summer reading contest, sponsored by Dependable Cleaners, The Patriot Ledger, Farina’s Bicycle Center, and Bikes Not Bombs. Runner up prizes provided by Feenan Financial, McDevitt Law Group, British Beer Company, Dependable Cleaners, and So Big Marketing.

The Read to Ride Week 7 winner was Aidan C., 9, from Quincy. Aidan picked out his new bike from Farina’s Bicycle Center in Watertown, one of the Read to Ride program’s sponsors. Aidan can’t wait to ride his new bike in the PMC Kids Ride this year!

Aidan’s winning book was Magic School Bus: Into the Earth by Joanna Cole. When Aidan wasn’t reading, he was keeping busy: going to summer camp, as well as visits to Niagra Falls and Bermuda Beach made this summer memorable. For this school year, Aidan is looking forward to track & field and basketball, as well as gym and art class.

The 2019 Read to Ride summer reading program has concluded for the year. Running from May to August, Read to Ride is an annual summer reading program that encourages students aged 5-15 to read books during summer vacation for the chance to win a bike. We would like to thank all the students, schools, libraries and local organizations who participated and made this year a success. We appreciate the community support and are proud to have engaged over 350 students this year to read over 2,580 books!
