Quincy, MA – Dependable Cleaners has announced recent winners in its Read to Ride summer reading contest, sponsored by Dependable Cleaners, The Patriot Ledger, Farina’s Bicycle Center, and Bikes Not Bombs.

The Week 2 winner was Mary Leuchte, 6, from Quincy. Mary likes to read, and her favorite kind of book is fantasy. She also loves playing outside and art. In school, she enjoys her religion and music classes most.

Mary loves riding bikes, and chose one from Farina’s Bicycle Center in Watertown.

Read to Ride, in its 21st year, is a summer reading program that encourages students, aged 5 to 15, to read during summer vacation, with an incentive of winning bicycles and other prizes. Winners are drawn randomly and participants can increase their opportunity to win based on the number of books they read each week. The program runs from May 1st to Aug. 12, 2019. A bicycle winner is drawn weekly between June 4 and Aug. 12 (12 bikes total), plus multiple runner up winners and prizes. Entry forms and contest details will be available at local libraries, South Shore YMCAs, local Boys & Girls Clubs and at all Dependable Cleaners locations, as well as at DependableCleaners.com and ReadtoRideMA.com.

Runner up prizes provided by Feenan Financial, McDevitt Law Group, British Beer Company, Dependable Cleaners, and So Big Marketing.
