Dependable Cleaners is offering free dry cleaning to anyone who is currently unemployed and needs freshly cleaned and pressed suits for job interviews. Customers who provide proof of their unemployment status in the form of a current unemployment check stub at Dependable Cleaners’ retail stores or to their delivery drivers will receive a certificate that is good for three free suit cleanings. This free cleaning begins Thursday, April 9, 2009.*.

With the Massachusetts unemployment rate threatening to go into double digits, Dependable Cleaners, a third generation, family-owned company decided this was a great way to assist unemployed workers in the area. “We wanted to do something to help our neighbors and customers who are struggling through these difficult times, “said Christa Hagearty, President of Dependable Cleaners. “It is our hope that this may relieve some of the stress for job seekers.”
