Dependable, as used in Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary: capable of being trusted or depended on; reliable.
Christa Hagearty, as defined by her children: Strong, generous, smart, supportive, caring, curious, independent, thoughtful, and inspiring.
What better way to close out this week dedicated to amazing mothers than with our very own Mom in Chief, Christa Hagearty! While she exemplifies the definition of dependable on a daily basis and has shattered glass ceilings with all of her accomplishments, you will always hear her say her favorite title is mom and the accomplishment she is most proud of is her three children.
They feel the same way about her and consider her their number one role model. “She is always there for me from the easiest to the most complicated situations,” says twenty-one-year-old Madison. “I know I can always talk to and rely on her to make me feel better.”
“I’ve gained a lot of traits from my mom, including her love for reading and learning,” says twenty-three year old Elizabeth. “Some of these traits I was destined to have by biology, or by default of environment, but many were things I intentionally gained from her because she has been my number one role model my entire my life.”
All agreed that while they live in different places they cherish and treasure the different perspectives Christa gives them and soak in her hardworking, motivational, successful example.
It takes someone special to be able to lead, teach, and be a great mom. Today, we celebrate Christa and every other Dependable mother, mother figure and caregiver!
