If the stain is really bad, try soaking the garment overnight in a solution of three parts vinegar to one part water. This works best on cotton fabrics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>SALT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: For red wine stains, sprinkle a bit of salt on the stain and let it sit for about five minutes. One of the best ways to remove red wine stains is with\u2026white wine. (They neutralize each other.) Just pour the white wine over the red wine stain before washing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>CLUB SODA<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Try to avoid using for any particularly greasy stains, as club soda might set it. For everything else, sprinkle the stain with salt and pour the seltzer water over. Leave overnight. This works especially well for coffee spills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>EGG YOLK<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: To get out a nasty coffee stain, mix the yolk with a few drops of alcohol and warm water. Apply the mixture to the stain with a sponge.
