Definition of New Year: a perfect time for a fresh start, to set goals for the future. It is cliché, we know, and typically these new goals have quite the limited life-span. It is simple to challenge yourself to do new things, for the first few weeks. The real challenge comes February 1, when you are trying to maintain the New Year, New You mantra.
So, what are the simple ways to embrace life this year?

Allow yourself to let things go.
Are you hanging on to things that are not positively adding to your life? Let. Them. Go. Often we do things out of habit. When acting out of intention, you let go of the little things and make room for more of what you enjoy.
Try new things.
Embracing life and being a “new you” requires mixing things up a bit. Now, this doesn’t have to be dramatic. Try a new hairstyle, new food or take up a hobby. Embrace life by allowing yourself to experience new things.
